How come there is air in my kitchen sink pipe all of a sudden? It sputters and spurts when I turn on the water.

Answer:

Remove the aerator and turn on the faucet..steady stream means you need to change the aerator. If it still sputters, check the supply line under the sink and make sure it didn’t get kinked or bent.
