Question:

New construction:  Trying to install single hole bathroom faucet that has drain pull in back.  My backsplash is thick and the pull keeps hitting the backsplash.  Is there any other faucet out there that has a different location for the drain pull?  Looking for oil rubbed bronze or the like.  Would prefer to keep the faucets I have if I can make them work.

Answer:

Try adjusting the height of the lift rod, so it clears the back splash.  You can also try loosening the nuts that hold the faucet to the counter/sink and pull the faucet as far forward as possible, and then re tightening the nuts.  Otherwise Moen makes Lav faucets that have the lift rod coming out of the spout a little closer to the front of the faucet.
