Question:
I’ve got a toilet with a single flush stop valve/button. There is a plastic rod/runner that runs through the valve and has a ‘T’ shape. The ‘T’ rod has come out of the well and is preventing the valve from closing – is it possible to get the ‘T’ back in the well without taking the entire cistern apart and off the toilet?
Answer:
You should be able to remove the flush handle/button by unscrewing the nut clockwise and pulling the rod out of the tank enough to re-insert it into the flush valve assembly.

We have a tub/shower with the lever you pull up after turning the water on to get the shower part to work. After the lever is pulled the pressure coming out of shower is low and there is water coming out where you would fill the tub…what causes this and can it easily be fixed? Thank you
@Tricia
It sounds like you are losing pressure due to a bad divertor tub spout. Change your tub spout and that should solve your problem.
