My kitchen sink is draining into the bathtub and the bathtub isn’t draining. I have tried plunging it, and I also removed the drainstop and tried to unclog the drain by hand, but that didn’t work. Can I fix this problem myself? If so, how?
Answer:
The tie in from the kitchen line is blocked where it ties in to the bathtub. You need to have the kitchen line snaked to clear the blockage.
