Plumbing Question 157

Question:

My water pressure varies wildly. When watering the yard it will start out fine then drop to a trickle in 5 min. Inside, the problem is similar but the drop off is not as drastic.

Answer:

Have a plumber check the pressure in the main water line coming from the meter. It sounds like the line may be blocked with debris. They would have to disconnect it from the house and flush out the line, or worst case replace the line.
