Question:
I’m trying to replace a bathroom sink faucet attached to a pedestal sink. The faucet is the type that mounts from under the sink. I removed the handles but don’t know how to take off the spout. Do I have to take the sink off the wall to change out this type of faucet? What are my options? Thanks.
Answer:
Usually the faucet can be removed with a basin wrench without removing the sink from the pedestal, but some models do have to be removed in order to change out a faucet.
