Are the fittings that shower valves(stems) screw into the same? I
took mine out to fix a drip and the stems are from different mfrs and look different. One is Price Pfister and other is unmarked. Would like to replace with new stems and seats that are the same.

All manufacturers have their own stems and seats…just like Ford parts wont fit a Chevy. You need to determine the manufacturer of your valve to make sure you purchase the correct replacement parts.
