Our master-bath shower has inconsisent pressure and hot and cold water fluxuations. We have been told this is likely a bad mixing valve. Would the mixing valve cause pressure fluxuations in addition to the hot/cold issue?
Answer:
It’s possible you may just have a worn out stem/cartridge that needs replacing. I am not sure if you have tried replacing the cartridge already. If you have, but are still having the problem, then, you may have to change your entire valve out.
