Question:

We want to add a sink in another room that is behind the present bathroom sink. The new sink will be about 5 feet away in a common 2X4 stud wall The DWV is a 2” ABS and the hot and cold service is ½” copper. We want to use the same vent and drain leg through the floor and same hot and cold service to the new sink. Is this possible?

Answer:

Yes, as long as the new drain is within 5 feet of the existing vent you should have no problem.
