I am renovating my bathroom, and I’m just about to put the shower base in, but I am not sure how to connect it as I have no access under the house. Any help would be great, its very frustrating.

Answer:

Most fiberglass pans use a rubber gasket to make the seal around the shower drain which is seated from the top. Set your pan opening over the 2″ ABS drainline and push the gasket down evenly until it is all the way down. I use a piece of 2-1/2″ PVC to gently tap the gasket down till it seats.
